Main dyeing process

Main dyeing process

Texchem operates across the spectrum of colorants for various dyeing processes, including direct, reactive, polyester and nylon dyes.

However, beyond colorants, the company’s wide range of products extends to all auxiliary dyeing agents. Once the fibers are prepared, they are ready to undergo the main dyeing process.

In order to achieve proper and uniform exhaustion of the dye into the fibers and simultaneously ensure fixation in the correct and desired manner, the use of specific products known as dyeing auxiliaries is deemed necessary.

Well – known examples of this kind of products are these which include materials acting as acidity/alkalinity regulators, gradually releasing acidity/alkalinity in dye baths, or substances acting as anti – reducing agents that prevent undesirable color shifts resulting from the action of external reducing agents.

Dyeing Auxiliaries

Texchem’s range of auxiliary products in the field of main dyeing processes includes:

  • Anti - Migration Agents

Prevent the migration of dyes and other chemical substances into fabrics, contributing to the maintenance of the desired color balance.

  • Anti - Foaming Agents

These substances prevent the formation of foam, contributing to the uniform distribution of color.

  • Anti – Reductive Agents

These substances prevent the reduction of dyes and other chemical substances.

  • Detergents

These are chemical products used for cleaning fabrics and fibers, removing any dirt and stains.

  • Post – dye Wash products (Soaps)

These products are used for cleaning fabrics after dyeing, while simultaneously removing residual dyes and other chemical substances from them.

  • Specialized Laundry Products for Printed Fabrics

  • Dispersing Agents

Contribution to the dispersion of dyes and other chemical substances into smaller particles with the aim of uniformly application of the materials on the fabric.

  • Acid donors

Providing the necessary acidity during the dyeing process

  • Fixatives

Contribution to the binding of dyes to fabrics during the dyeing process.

  • Wetting Agents

Enhancement of liquid penetration into fabrics, contributing to the uniform and effective application of dyes.

  • Neutralizers

Responsible for pH adjustment at all stages of dyeing process

  • Leveling agents and carriers

Contribution to the uniform application of dyes and other chemical substances on the fabric, ensuring consistent results across the entire desired surface.
